SICILIA DA SCOPRIRE GELA-MANFRIA - UNO SPOT CHE SI COLORA DI ROSA

CIao a tutti! 

Oggi scopriremo un piccolo angolo di paradiso descrittoci dalla nostra girlpower ed istruttrice Iko Sandra La Terra, che ringrazio per aver partecipato a questa iniziativa che ho intrapreso con kitegirlsitalia per scoprire, insieme ai local ,gli spot italiani più belli.

Prima di avere le informazioni principiali su questo spot e su come raggiungerlo , vorrei aggiungere che lo spot di Gela, è particolare non solo per la sua bellezza, ma anche perchè è l'unico spot in cui ho fatto kite fino ad ora , dove la maggioranza dei riders in acqua erano kitegirls!! Quante ragazze stupende che ho conosciuto! Uno spot colorato di rosa insomma, dove ci si aiuta a vicenda e si fa gruppo, anche se sei solo di passaggio come è successo a me. Spero di tornare al più presto a farvi visita ragazze! Siete meravigliose.

LO SPOT DI GELA -SICILIA

Buongiorno ragazze, mi chiamo Sandra La terra e faccio kite da diversi anni,

alle kitegirls che amano spostarsi e scoprire nuovi spot, consiglio un luogo magico, ventoso, caldo, in un isola meravigliosa baciata dal sole, sto parlando della Sicilia e precisamente Lo spot di Gela (dove abito io).

Per raggiungere Gela, potete scegliere tra 4 aereoporti:

-Comiso (distanza 45 minuti)

- Catania (distanza 1ora)

-Palermo (distanza 2 ore)

-Trapani (distanza 2.45 ore)

Arrivati allo spot, potete parcheggiare la macchina davanti al lido Panama Beach, quindi brevissimo tragitto a piedi senza tanta fatica per scendere la vostra attrezzatura, possibilita' di noleggiare/depositare attrezzatura, fare lezioni di kite e usufruire dei servizi presso il Kitecenter dell'associazione Kitesurfgela.

Una distesa di spiaggia sabbiosa e fine, dune e macchia mediterranea è la caratteristica di questo bellissimo soleggiato spot, principalmente soffia un vento costante di ponente che va dai 14 ai 25 nodi, mare prevalentemente choppato o con piccola onda, temperatura mite dai 20 gradi in su, consiglio pero' muta lunga fino a fine giugno (4/3 mm), dopo di che mutino corto, lo spot è adatto ai kiters indipendenti, anche se non ha particolari rischi, e vista la dimensione della spiaggia e le lunghe distanze che separano un kiter dall'altro in mare, lo ritengo abbastanza sicuro e adatto anche per i principianti.

How many beautiful girls I met! A spot colored in pink, in short, where you help each other and become a group, even if you are just passing through like it happened to me. THE SPOT OF GELA -SICILY

Hello girls, my name is Sandra La Terra and I have been kitesurfing for several years,

to kitegirls who love to move and discover new spots, I recommend a magical place, windy, warm, in a wonderful island kissed by the sun, I'm talking about Sicily and precisely The spot of Gela (where I live).

To reach Gela, you can choose between 4 airports:

-Comiso (distance 45 minutes)

- Catania (distance 1hour)

-Palermo (distance 2 hours)

-Drills (distance 2.45 hours)

Arrived at the spot, you can park your car in front of the Panama Beach lido, so very short walk without much effort to get off your equipment, possibility to rent/ deposit equipment, take kite lessons and take advantage of the services at the Kitecenter of the association Kitesurfgela.

An expanse of sandy and fine beach, dunes and Mediterranean scrub is the feature of this beautiful sunny spot, mainly blows a constant west wind ranging from 14 to 25 knots, mostly choppato sea or with small wave, mild temperature from 20 degrees up, I recommend but' long mute until late June (4/3 mm), after which they change short, the spot is suitable for independent kiters, even if it does not have particular risks, and given the size of the beach and the long distances that separate one kiter from the other in the sea, I consider it quite safe and suitable for beginners.
